This Privacy Policy explains how launchd Manager (the "Software") handles your information. The Software is a tool for managing macOS launchd agents, used to view, create, and edit LaunchAgents / LaunchDaemons locally on your own Mac. The Software is developed and distributed by Kusumoto Masahiro (the "Developer").

1. Personal information we collect

The Software does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. There is no account registration or login, and it includes no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash reporting, or any other third-party trackers.

2. Data handled by the app

The plist files that the Software reads and writes, as well as the output of launchctl, are all processed locally on your own Mac. This data is never sent to the Developer or any third-party server. Only the user agents under ~/Library/LaunchAgents/ can be edited; the system LaunchAgents / LaunchDaemons are treated as read-only.

3. Log display

An agent's stdout / stderr logs are only displayed within the app from files stored on your own Mac; they are never sent externally.

4. Automatic updates

To check for new versions, the Software sends HTTPS requests to GitHub Releases (kusumotoa/launchd-manager-releases). These requests contain no information that identifies the user. Downloading and installing an update is performed only when you explicitly choose to do so, and any update whose signature cannot be verified is rejected.

5. Disclosure to third parties

Because the Software does not collect any personal information or data from users, no disclosure to third parties occurs.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Software is a native macOS app and does not use cookies or any other tracking technologies.

7. Disclaimer

The Software is provided free of charge on an "as-is" basis. The Developer makes no warranty as to the operation of the Software and assumes no responsibility for any damages arising from its use. Because changing a launchd agent's configuration affects system startup and automatic execution behavior, please make sure you understand the settings before using them.
